Paper High offers handcrafted Fair Trade gifts, including journals, photo albums, homewares, and accessories, all made by skilled artisans in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Every product is handmade using sustainable, locally sourced, and recycled materials such as cotton rag paper, recycled newspaper, felted wool, and upcycled leather.

Paper High works only with producers they know personally, visiting them regularly and paying at least 50% upfront for all orders. The brand is a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and the British Association for Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS) since 2002. Packaging is fully recyclable, and the company never disposes of unsold products, instead reselling them at reduced prices to avoid waste.

Founded by Mark and Claire after a trip to Kathmandu, Paper High plants 250 trees each month through Tree Nation and Treefo, offsets all website CO2 emissions, and sponsors girls’ education in Nepal. Their Lewes, UK HQ uses sustainable travel incentives and minimises its carbon footprint by importing goods by sea.
