Proverb has a simple mission; to make amazing, clean, natural and organic products that are better for human health & performance, the planet and its people.
Founders, Kirstie, and Luke Sherriff met at Oxford University from where Luke signed a professional rugby contract playing for 11 years in the topflight of English rugby and Kirstie has over 20 years of skin expertise and has developed an organic spa product house, beauty schools, and trains therapists to have an elite 5\* spa touch at spas.
The journey started with their Refillable Natural Deodorant and Hand Sanitiser and now includes Refillable Natural Body Wash and Minimal Waste Skincare. They take their formulations incredibly seriously. The deodorant took 3 years to create and is on its 89th rendition with hundreds of 5-star reviews.
They give 10% of annual profits to projects they believe in which so far have included WATERAID, Hygiene Bank and Plastic Bank. Their Hand Sanitiser donates 'one for one' via The Hygiene Bank to children in child poverty in the UK.
