Founded by lifelong builders Harry and George, Shacks partners with local farmers and landowners to create low-impact stays that help diversify rural land and celebrate the role of British farming. Through these partnerships, landowners can generate additional income from underused land while maintaining the natural beauty of their surroundings.

Guests enjoy a digital detox, unspoilt night skies, and year-round comfort - whether it’s a cosy winter retreat or a summer adventure by the fire pit.

Alongside their off-grid stays, Shacks also design and build bespoke timber structures across the UK, including garden rooms, saunas, and one-off private cabins. Each build carries the same philosophy of thoughtful craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and a deep respect for the landscape.
