Nkuku creates timeless homewares, furniture, and lighting, handmade by artisans using natural, reclaimed, and recycled materials. Each piece is crafted with traditional techniques, celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the unique story behind every product.

Founded in 2003 by Ali and Alex after travels through Africa and India, Nkuku partners with independent businesses and co-operatives, focusing on ethical, fair-trade practices and long-lasting relationships. The majority of collections are handmade in India, with other pieces sourced from Vietnam and Indonesia.

Nkuku is a certified B Corp and supports charity partners such as Frank Water, which delivers clean water to remote communities. The brand’s Devon-based store and head office operate with a zero waste to landfill policy, and since 2019, Nkuku has reduced plastic packaging by 85%.
