Who Gives A Crap
Bamboo & Recycled Toilet Paper
Who Gives A Crap turns toilet paper into a force for good, donating 50% of profits to fund sanitation and clean water.
Who Gives A Crap was started when the founders learnt that 2.4 billion people don't have access to a toilet (now 2 billion – yay for progress!). That's roughly 40% of the global population and means that around 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrhoeal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. That's almost 800 children per day, or one child every two minutes.
They thought that was pretty crap. So that's why they set out to create bamboo and recycled toilet paper that donates 50% of their profits to ensure everyone has access to clean water and a toilet within our lifetime. They work with partners around the world to build toilets and provide proper sanitation that is sustainable and scalable.
