Elvis & Kresse rescue raw materials and fire hoses which are handmade into luxury and sustainable bags and accessories.
All products are made in England with 50% of their profits going to The Fire Fighters Charity and Barefoot College. All staff are paid above the real living wage and their factory is a certified social enterprise and a founding B Corp.
They work with 15 different waste streams including decommissioned fire hoses, leather offcuts and tea sacks. One of their projects is to reuse Burberry’s leather offcuts in the UK, turning waste into timeless designs.
They purify their own water on site and are developing a circular water purification system to become fully self-sufficient. Packaging is handmade in their Kent workshop using reclaimed materials such as printing blankets and parachute silk.
By keeping production local Elvis & Kresse reduce their environmental footprint and support the UK economy.
