HERD creates luxury knitwear, bags, and belts from 100% natural, traceable materials, crafted within 230 miles of British farms. Each piece is made using Bluefaced Leicester wool from Yorkshire and Lancashire, British vegetable-tanned leather, and hand-loomed Indian cotton, all processed without toxic chemicals or synthetics.
HERD’s materials-first approach honours local ecosystems and heritage skills, working directly with farmers, craftspeople, and small-scale producers. All products are naturally dyed, hand-finished, and fully biodegradable, with packaging that is recyclable or compostable and no plastic used in fulfilment.
Founded by Ruth Alice Rands, HERD is a blueprint for regenerative, circular fashion that is seasonless, additive-free, and designed to last.
